Internatational cooperation in cybersecurity – Roundtable with Iddo Moed, the Director of Cyber Security at the Ministry of Foreign affairs in Israel

Today on May 9th,  the Casimir Pulaski Foundation hosted a round table discussion pertaining to cyber security and Israel specifically, the Foundation welcomed Ruth Cohen-Dar, the deputy ambassador of Israel to Poland and Iddo Moed, the director of cybersecurity at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Israel. „Good experts and their knowledge cost” – CPF conference about cybersecurity in Kyiv

On September 27th, 2016 in Radisson Blue Hotel in Kyiv took place an international conference “Cybersecuring Ukrainian Energy Infrastructure” organized by Casimir Pulaski Foundation and “Poland–Ukraine Research Center Foundation”. The conference was culmination of Pulaski Foundation's research project supported by International Visegrad Fund's grant, which aimed to examine the most important technological and legal problems concerning cybersecurity of Ukraine. The project was also focused on creating guidelines for good practices and strengthening international cooperation in this field. Discussion on cybersecurity readiness at the Casimir Pulaski Foundation

On October 29th at the Casmir Pulaski Foundation, a roundtable discussion, titled Cyber Maturity in Europe, was held in the framework of the Pulaski Security Briefings cycle. Mrs. Melissa Hathaway, Senior Advisor for Cyber Security Project at Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs was a special guest at the event. The meeting was organised in cooperation with the Embassy of the United States in Warsaw. “Secure and Strong: V4 goes cyber” – Cooperation as a Key to Security of V4 States’ Cyberspace

On the 16 of June 2016 the Casimir Pulaski Foundation hosted analysts and experts representing think tanks and non-governmental organizations from Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. It was the next meeting, after Prague, Bratislava and Budapest, that was realized as part of project “Secure and Strong: V4 goes cyber”. The purpose of the visit was to analyse current tools of Poland's cyberspace protection policy, to share best practices and to enhance cooperation under the Visegrad Four. V4 goes Cyber – the representatives of the Casimir Pulaski Foundation on a study visit concerning the cybersecurity of Slovakia

Up-to-date Slovak Republic has not worked out regulations concerning cybersecurity at the strategic level. The government adopted the document “The Cybersecurity Concept of the Slovak Republic for 2015-2020” on 17th of June 2015. “The plan of actions” concept was approved on the 2nd of March 2016. Before that cybersecurity was only mentioned in the strategic documents concerning security. An important element of the cybersecurity system of Slovakia is the CSIRT (Computer Security Incident Response Team) linked to Data Centre of Ministry of Finance. The role of social media in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is growing.
