Baltic Sea States have common goals but look in different directions

On July 9, 2016 Casimir Pulaski Foundation organised the Baltic Sea Security Conference. Polish voice in the debate on how to resolve conflicts in the broad European Union neighbourhood

On the 18th of May 2016 the Casimir Pulaski Foundation organized in partnership with the European Institute of Peace a seminar “Challenges and perspectives for EU response to conflicts in the European neighbourhood – time for a new strategy?”. The seminar was hosted by the Polish Permanent Representation to the European Union in Brussels. The seminar was an inauguration of Casimir Pulaski Foundation’s new programme – Peace and Stabilisation Strategies Programme. Foundation’s experts in the US, discussing Air and Missile Defence

Short and medium range Air and Ballistic Missile Defence systems, progress on the deployment of the Aegis Ashore system in Poland and it’s capabilities or Excalibur guided artillery shell  for self-propelled tracked howitzer Krab – those issues were discussed between Polish experts and Raytheon specialists. The meeting took place in the American company’s headquarter in Waltham. Foundation experts Tomasz Smura, Maciej Kowalski and Robert Czulda attended. The role of social media in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is growing. More than 35 percent of Palestinians living in the territories of Gaza and the West Bank use internet and mobile technologies as their primary communication tool – said Dr Orit Perlov, Social Media Analyst at the Institute of National Security Studies in Tel Aviv at a meeting held by the Pulaski Foundation.
