The inauguration meeting of Women in International Security Poland (WIIS Poland) will take place on 20th of March 2018. WIIS Poland is a Polish affiliate of the global organisation which goal is to support professional and academic development of women in fields of security and international relations. Polish-American Leadership Summit (PALS) is where the future economic ties between Poland and the United States of America take shape. In November this year Warsaw will become again the arena for intense discussions between world leaders and experts on the international security architecture, the future of NATO and challenges for the European countries. Between November 8th and 9th 2017 the Warsaw Security Forum (WSF) will be held. As part of its Peace and Stabilization Strategies series, the Casimir Pulaski Foundation in partnership with the Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna (IWM) on 23rd January will hold a public discussion on the future of the security dialogue in the OESC area. The debate comes as tensions between Russia and the West are high. The risk of accidents or incidents is great. There is little progress in the implementation of a cease-fire in eastern Ukraine. Many protracted and “frozen” conflicts in the OSCE are in danger of escalating and heating up. And there is little dialogue.
„Industrial Summit. Europe meets Ukraine 2017” is an undertaking which aims for the development of political and industrial cooperation on international level. The first edition is devoted to Ukraine – a country of enormous potential, which has a lot to offer to the West and especially its partners in Central Europe. Cooperation of armament industries and their development in the Central and Eastern Europe region (CEE), as well as issues related to energy security, which evolves into ever more important aspect of the global security architecture, shall be disputed at the conference. Military representatives, decision-makers, high level administration figures and experts from around the world will debate on how to foster bilateral cooperation between states and non-state actors in the industrial field.
“Cybersecurity of the Financial Sector” is the next conference from the “Cybersecurity of Poland” series. The main subject of discussion will be information security in business, security of the electronic payment system and issues such as cloud computing, Law of the European Union as well as the Directive on Network and Information Security. The conference will be held on 24th of September 2015. Head of the National Security Bureau and Rector-Commander of the National Defence University in Warsaw have assumed honorary patronage over the conference.
