Lucyna Czechowska

Research Fellow

Doctor at the faculty of Political Science at UMK (Nicolaus Copernicus University) in Toruń. Former intern at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at Polish Embassy in Washington, D.C.

Specialisations: THEORY OF STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS, STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS OF THE EUROPEAN UNION, STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS OF THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND.

Lucyna Czechowska completed internships at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Washington, as well as a foreign research internship at the University of Rostock. She was awarded 2nd place in the Casimir Pulaski Foundation Competition for PhD students for the best essay in the field of international relations. Lucyna was the head of the international research team at the Strategic Partnership Group, which carried out the research project Strategic Partnership between a State and an International Organization: An Ideal Model, financed by the National Science Center (“Sonata”). She attended the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Climate Change (COP 21) in Paris on behalf of the Polish Ecological Club.
