A Habilitated Doctor of Human Sciences in a history at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev. She is a former member of the Social Council at Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine.
Specializations: ENERGY POLICY AND DIPLOMACY, ENERGY POLICY OF RUSSIA, EUROPEAN ENERGY SECURITY, GLOBAL MARKET OF OIL AND GAS, REGIONAL ENERGY MARKETS.
A Habilitated Doctor of Human Sciences in a history. She obtained a degree at Historical Sciences Faculty at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev. Her postdoctoral thesis was ,,Foreign policy of the United States and Russia in the Persian Gulf”(underlined energy policy as well as a terroristic factor). Professor Słobodian was the member of the Energy Department at the International Centre for Strategic Sciences (Kiev, Ukraine). She is also a former member of the Social Council at Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine.
