Clément Stratmann

Clément Stratmann is a Swiss-raised Franco-German political science and history graduate of the University of Basel, currently completing his master’s in international relations and war studies. He also holds a postgraduate Diplomacy and International Security certificate from the European Academy of Diplomacy in Warsaw.
Having previously served at the German Bundestag, the French Assemblée Nationale, the FINABEL committee on the interoperability of European Land Forces, the Konrad-Adenauer, Robert Schuman, and Hans-Seidel foundations, he currently works as an assistant research trainee for the democratic resilience and Energy Security Track of the Casimir Pulaski Foundation.
His interests and research topics mainly revolve around geostrategy, conflict analysis, military doctrine and intelligence, European and transatlantic security, defence policy, and interoperability within the Weimar triangle
