Grzegorz Rdzanek

Doctor habilitated in political sciences, specializing in international relations. Professor at the Jan Kochanowski University in the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, academic lecturer with many years of experience.

Specializations: MILITARY INDUSTRY, NATO, NORDIC MILITARY POLICY, INTERNATIONAL SECURITY, INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

Doctor habilitated in political sciences, specializing in international relations. Until 2016, he was employed at the Institute of International Studies at the University of Wrocław. Since 2016, he has been associated as a university professor with the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences at Jan Kochanowski University. In this unit he was the Vice-Dean for Science and International Cooperation. Academic lecturer with many years of experience. In the years 2016-2020, an expert of the Polish Accreditation Committee, an institution responsible for the quality of education in Polish higher education. Author of numerous scientific publications (including monographs) concerning mainly: the evolution of NATO, European armaments policy, defense policies of Denmark and Norway, expeditionary activities of the Danish armed forces. His research focuses mainly on the military security of Northern Europe and the defense policies of the Nordic countries: Denmark, Norway and Sweden. It intensively cooperates with universities and research centers in Scandinavian countries. He carried out numerous research and teaching stays at Scandinavian universities, including: University of Oslo, the University of Aalborg, Mid Sweden University, University of Helsinki.
