Waldemar Skrzypczak

Former adviser to the Minister of National Defence, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of National Defence, Lieutenant General and Commander of the Land Forces of the Republic of Poland. In 2005, he was the commander of the Multinational Division Center-South as part of the 4th rotation of the Polish Military Contingent in Iraq.

Advisor to the Minister of National Defence, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of National Defence, Lieutenant General and Commander of the Land Forces of the Republic of Poland. While serving as commander of the Land Forces, he focused on cooperation between Poland and other countries through, among others, joint exercises.

In 2005, he was the commander of the Multinational Division Center-South as part of the 4th rotation of the Polish Military Contingent in Iraq. He was responsible for minimizing the number of rebel attacks in the territory. After assuming the position of commander of the Land Forces in 2006, he increased the number of soldiers stationed in Afghanistan.

He is a graduate of the Military Academy of Armored Forces in Poznań and the Academy of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces in Warsaw. He completed a strategic resource management course at the Monterey Postgraduate School in California, USA.
