Major (ret.) Anna Grabowska-Siwiec, PhD, is a lecturer and research fellow at the Faculty of International Relations, University of Białystok. A retired counterintelligence officer of the Internal Security Agency (ABW), she served in the Agency from 2004 to 2020. She holds a doctorate in political science. She conducts specialist training on intelligence threats, counterintelligence protection, critical infrastructure security, information security, communication, methods of manipulation, and emotion recognition. She is the author of the scholarly monographs “Counterintelligence and Power: From the Second Department of the Ministry of the Interior to the Counterintelligence Directorate of the Office for State Protection” and “Counterintelligence Information”, as well as numerous academic and popular science articles. She is an educator, scholar, and researcher in the field of intelligence and security services and internal security.
