Professor at the European Center of the University of Warsaw, former head of the Political Cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Affairs (2001–2003) and a longtime diplomat. In the years 2003-2008, the Polish ambassador to Thailand, the Philippines and the Union of Myanmar (formerly Burma). Earlier, in the years 1991-1998, he was at a diplomatic post in Hungary. Author of many books and publications on China, Asia and Hungary. Radio and television commentator. Regular guest on the pages of the portals: observer Finansowy.pl. wp.pl. Mojeopinie.pl and in the monthly magazine “Nowe Książki” and in the quarterly magazines “Przegląd Polityczny” and “Aspen Review – Prague”. He also publishes frequently in Hungary.
