Research Fellow

Grzegorz Liśkiewicz

Head of the Turbine and Compressor Division at the Lodz University of Technology. He works on safety systems for compressors – machines used by everyone (hoovers, hand dryers, air conditioning) and on a larger scale (aircraft engines, chemical industry, heavy industry, power plants and above all – energy). His aim is to make compressors safer and more economical.

SPECIALISATION: ENGINEERING ASPECTS OF ENERGY, ENERGY TECHNOLOGY, AERODYNAMICS

He has worked or interned at the University of Strathclyde, University of Leeds, University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Aalborg University, General Electric. As of August 2024, he will be doing a project at the US university Texas A&M under a Fullbright grant. He has served as the Rector’s Representative for Academic Entrepreneurship, Board Member of the Association of Top 500 Innovators and the Tech Transfer Office of the Technical University of Lodz.
