Zbigniew PISARSKI (1978) is a Founder and President of the Casimir Pulaski Foundation, a leading Polish think-tank specializing in foreign policy and international security, and an organizer of the Warsaw Security Forum, an annual high-level international conference on defense and security. He is co-founder of the European Academy of Diplomacy, the first European non-governmental diplomatic academy.
In 2010 President of the Republic of Poland appointed him as an advisor on the National Security Strategic Review. He is a regular commentator for Polish and international media.
Zbigniew holds an MA degree in European Studies from Vienna University. He was a Visiting Scholar at Harvard University, Georgetown University and University of Southern California. He completed Ph.D. studies at the Warsaw School of Economics where he is preparing his doctoral dissertation. Government of Australia awarded him with the Endeavour Executive Fellowship.
In the past, he practiced lightathletics, winning medals during the Polish Academic Championships over the distance of 400 m and 400 m hurdles. Privately, husband of prof. Katarzyna Pisarska and father of Lena (2008) and Ignacy (2014).
He speaks Polish, English and Russian.
