Despite progress in women's representation at leadership and ministerial levels in the EU, NATO, and UN, gaps remain. Evidence shows that gender imbalance in leadership affects foreign policy and security. The crucial role of women in maintaining peace is supported by research, indicating that gender equality enhances sustainable and effective peace negotiations. Therefore, as part of the project "Empowering Young Female Experts in Regional Security and Foreign Policy," the Casimir Pulaski Foundation aims to support the development of aspiring female leaders. This graphic provides a brief overview, exposing the gender gaps in security leadership, which we are trying to address.
