Executive Director – International Centre for Ukrainian Victory

Background

The International Centre for Ukrainian Victory (ICUV) was established by Ukrainian civil society leaders in partnership with the Casimir Pulaski Foundation right after Russia triggered a large-scale invasion of Ukraine. The goal of ICUV is to advance the interests of Ukraine internationally to ensure quicker victory in the war with Russia and preserve the lives of the Ukrainian people.

The main directions of ICUV work include advocating for security and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, tougher sanctions against Russia, criminal responsibility for war crimes, comprehensive reconstruction plan for Ukraine.

Responsibilities

The Executive Director will be working closely with ICUV founders – leaders from different sectoral Ukrainian civil society organizations, who relocated to Poland after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. You will be in charge of ensuring organizational, financial and logistical support for the implementation of advocacy and programmatic priorities identified by ICUV founders. You will be coordinating cross-sectoral teams, which are operating under the main directions of ICUV activities. The executive director is expected to conduct negotiations with ICUV donors, guarantee the implementation of project activities and due reporting.

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing people and setting up teams in non-for-profit organizations
  • Track record of administering international technical assistance projects
  • Proven understanding of international relations and advocacy
  • Strong leadership, presentation and communication skills
  • Language skills: fluent Ukrainian and English, proficiency in Polish
