Stanisław Koziej, Prof. PhD, DSc, Brigadier General retired – member of the Forecast Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Program Council of the Bronisław Komorowski Institute and an academic teacher at the University of Warsaw and the Paweł Włodkowic University College in Płock.

Specializations: INTERNATIONAL AND NATIONAL SECURITY POLICY AND STRATEGY (DEFENCE) AND STRATEGIC SECURITY MANAGEMENT

Former head of the National Security Bureau and deputy minister of National Defence, adviser to the Minister of National Defence and the Ombudsman, director of the department in the Ministry of National Defence and the National Security Bureau, head of the operational department of the ŚOW, head of the operational department of the 15DZ, officer of the General Staff, long-time academic teacher at the Academy of the General Staff, the National Defence University of Warsaw and civilian universities. In 1996-1997 he was the head of the Polish mission in the Neutral Nations Supervisory Commission in Korea, and in 1997-1998 he was the deputy head of the OSCE Mission in Georgia. In the years 1999 – 2001 he was the first representative of Poland in NATO for nuclear policy and strategy. Co-author of Polish defence and national security strategies at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries, author of several hundred publications in the field of national security, especially defence.
