University of Lodz, head of the Center for Asian Affairs; associate professor at the Department of Asian Studies at the WSMiP UŁ, habilitated doctor in the field of social sciences in the discipline of political science (University of Warsaw, 2014); member of the Asia-Pacific Council at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, specializes in the rhetoric of Chinese diplomacy, Chinese foreign policy in regional terms, and the political and economic development of contemporary China; Chinese language studies at Shanghai International Studies University (1999 – 2000 and 2003 – 2004); Jan Karski Scholarship awarded by the American Center for Polish Culture; internship at the Heritage Foundation in Washington (2003); internship at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (2010-2011, Beijing); numerous study trips and lectures as part of the grants of the National Science Center; project manager Ministry of Foreign Affairs and KGHM Polska Miedź; member of the editorial teams of “Azja-Pacyfik” (annual) and “Journal of Contemporary Eastern Asia” (Austria/South Korea) and “Sinologia Hispanica”.
