On 7th of March the board of directors of the Casimir Pulaski Foundation comprised of Zbigniew Pisarski, the President of the Board of the Pulaski Foundation and Wojciech Dzięgiel, member of the board of the Foundation, visited the Border Guard Training Centre in Kętrzyn, Poland. The visit aimed at strengthening the strategic cooperation between both institutions. During the visit different subjects were discussed including the ability to develop joint programs for domestic and foreign partners and presentation of projects conducted by the Foundation as well as the possibility of participation of representatives of both institutions in mutual events.
The Border Guard of the Republic of Poland is an armed formation executing tasks in the field of defence of Poland’s borders, including the air space up to 500 meters and control of border traffic in Poland. Competent Minister of Interior and Administration supervises the formation.
