The Pulaski Foundation Defence and Security Program provides multidisciplinary analysis of the current and emerging defense and security challenges facing the Transatlantic Alliance – with a special focus on Central and Eastern Europe.
Since 2022 the program allocates much of its resources to analysing the possible outcomes and consequences for European security of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. A special component of the program is devoted to the challenges and opportunities facing Poland’s defense policy, including modernizing of the Polish army and its industry. The main goal is to present actionable recommendations to an array of Polish stakeholders, including public administration, which could form a basis for long-term strategies for Poland in times of raising military and defense demands.
Overall, through its analysis, the program advocates for a stronger presence of NATO on the Alliance’s Eastern Flank, more developed European defence capabilities and argues for the need to provide military assistance and solid security guarantees to Ukraine.
