Started on 24 February 2022, Russian invasion ended a “hybrid” period of armed aggression against Ukraine’s independence, democracy and policy of integration with EU and NATO.

Since the beginning of the Russian aggression against Ukraine in late February 2022, numerous NATO and EU member states – particularly those from Central and Eastern Europe – have started actively  support Ukraine with a direct aid – not only humanitarian, but also military one. Poland was also depicted by Russian disinformation as a Russo phobic country, which wants to provoke a war with Russians and tries to pull out the West into it. Unfortunately, some Western experts were vulnerable to these claims and repeated Russian propaganda on this subject.

Jeszcze w lutym 2022 r., w przeddzień rosyjskiej agresji na Ukrainę, podpisanie nowego porozumienia nazywanego umową nuklearną z Iranem (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action – JCPOA), wydawało się być niemal pewne. Tymczasem po kilkudziesięciu dniach toczącej się na wschodzie Europy wojny, porozumienie zdaje się być coraz mniej realne do osiągnięcia.

Pytanie o genezę założenia, że rosyjski reżim nie traktuje projektów infrastruktury gazowej instrumentalnie, jako narzędzia politycznego, pozostaje otwarte. Trudno nie widzieć tu związku z gigantycznymi inwestycjami Gazpromu w zatrudnianie byłych polityków czy w “zabawki” Europejczyków takie jak piłka nożna.

19 marca Federacja Rosyjska zaatakowała ukraiński magazyn amunicji lotniczej, zlokalizowany w obwodzie iwanofrankowskim, przy pomocy aerobalistycznych pocisków Kindżał.

„Specjalna operacja” Sił Zbrojnych Federacji Rosyjskiej na Ukrainie miała być, zgodnie z pierwotnymi założeniami rosyjskich władz politycznych i wojskowych, krótką i błyskawiczną kampanią militarną, przeprowadzoną bez większych problemów i znaczącego oporu ze strony Ukraińców.

Po niemal 2 tygodniach wojennej kampanii rozpoczętej rosyjską agresją na Ukrainę 24 lutego br., sytuacja ukraińskich sił zbrojnych pozostaje trudna.

24 lutego br. Federacja Rosyjska po trwającej kilkanaście miesięcy fazie zwiększonej polityczno-wojskowej presji, rozpoczęła wojskową agresję przeciwko Ukrainie.

Tymczasem w państwie, w struktury i rozwój którego Zachód „wpompował” miliardy dolarów (do sierpnia 2021 tylko same Stany Zjednoczone wydały na nią 2,26 bln USD, wg Costs of War, Uniwersytet Browna), talibowie zdołali zdobyć władzę w stolicy w ciągu zaledwie dziesięciu dni od chwili przejęcia pierwszej prowincji.

Oba statki nękane były przez lotnictwo oraz okręty Floty Czarnomorskiej.

Niekorzystny dla Islamskiej Republiki Iranu (IRI) splot wydarzeń z ostatnich kilku lat sprawił, że państwo to ponownie znalazło się w izolacji, a jego pozycja międzynarodowa uległa osłabieniu.

For years after the Cold War invading one its neighbours had been deemed largely unthinkable.  That is, until Moscow’s military rolled across the border of Georgia in August 2008 and seized two provinces which it still occupies today. A similar land grab of Ukrainian territory was fraught with horrendous consequences. In 2014, Russian President Vladimir Putin invaded both Crimea and the Eastern Donbas regions. To this day the latter remains a war zone with massive devastation throughout and more than 13,000 persons killed – 25 per cent of those being civilians.

W marcu br. minęło sześć lat od chwili wybuchu wojny domowej w Jemenie. Konflikt ten jeszcze niedawno pozostawał w cieniu bardziej „zauważalnych” na Zachodzie wojen domowych w Syrii i Libii, również będących późnymi następstwami rewolt i niepokojów tzw. Arabskiej Wiosny sprzed dekady.
